LHH is Hiring a Bilingual Safety Coordinator Near Phoenix, AZ
The Bilingual Safety Coordinator will play a crucial role in overseeing and implementing safety programs and protocols across our construction sites. This individual must possess strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, including an OSHA 500 certification, and be fluent in both English and Spanish to effectively communicate with our diverse workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs and procedures in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Provide safety training and education to employees, ensuring they understand and comply with safety regulations.
- Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near misses, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Some college is preferred!
- OSHA 500 certification is required.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Proven experience as a Safety Coordinator or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct training sessions and present safety information effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
