Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, availability, reliability, and selection.
- Negotiate and secure favorable terms and pricing agreements with suppliers.
- Place purchase orders for materials, supplies, and equipment as per established procurement policies and procedures.
- Monitor market trends and product availability to anticipate potential shortages or price fluctuations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs and specifications.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
- Conduct regular vendor evaluations and performance reviews to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards.
- Resolve issues and disputes with vendors in a timely and professional manner.
- Continuously seek opportunities to optimize supplier relationships and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs.
- Monitor inventory levels and track usage patterns to anticipate demand and avoid stockouts.
- Implement inventory control measures to reduce shrinkage, obsolescence, and waste.
- Work closely with suppliers and logistics partners to streamline delivery schedules and minimize lead times.
- Analyze pricing proposals, quotes, and bids to determine the most cost-effective purchasing options.
- Prepare and manage budgets for procurement activities, ensuring adherence to financial constraints and targets.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings through bulk purchasing, strategic sourcing, and alternative suppliers.
- Monitor and report on procurement-related expenses, variances, and trends.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and vendor agreements.
- Generate reports and documentation for internal and external audits as required.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, procurement, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in a similar industry or organization.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and MS Office suite.
- Solid understanding of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and functions.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) is a plus.

- Pay is $60k-$70k depending on experience
Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
