LHH is seeking a Rail/Industrial Structures Practice Lead for our client in Omaha, NE. This full-time direct hire position is fully on-site. The Rail/Industrial Structures Practice Lead will oversee the structures team's daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety policies and quality control standards, and planning and designing rail projects. This role requires at least 6 years of relevant experience, exceptional communication skills, and a professional engineer license.

Responsibilities:

• Support and oversee daily operations of structures team
• Perform planning, analysis, and design for railroad-related projects
• Assist with mentoring, training, and recruiting staff
• Manage pursuit pipeline
• Collaborate with other offices/divisions to meet sales goals
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and quality control standards
• Frequent travel required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and must be currently licensed professional engineer
• 6 years of design, engineering, and construction experience required
• Working knowledge of design manuals, railroad guidelines, and related software required
• Class I Railroads experience preferred
• Demonstrated experience managing engineering business and financial
• Exceptional communication skills

Salary: $90,000 - $150,000
