Job Title : Collections Specialist

Location : Mt. Laurel, NJ (Hybrid)

Salary : $20 per hour

Job Type : Full-time

Key Responsibilities :

  • Contact customers and clients to collect outstanding payments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities.
  • Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements within company guidelines.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounts and billing issues.
  • Monitor aging accounts and prepare regular reports on collection status.
  • Adhere to all relevant collection laws and regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field is preferred.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
