Job Title : Collections Specialist
Location : Mt. Laurel, NJ (Hybrid)
Salary : $20 per hour
Job Type : Full-time
Key Responsibilities :
- Contact customers and clients to collect outstanding payments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities.
- Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements within company guidelines.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounts and billing issues.
- Monitor aging accounts and prepare regular reports on collection status.
- Adhere to all relevant collection laws and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field is preferred.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
