LHH is Hiring a Communications Specialist Near Washington, DC

Communications Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a communications specialist with 3 or more years of experience for a contract opportunity for a nonprofit in Washington DC. This role is hybrid 2 day a week onsite 3 days work from home. This is a great role that offers the opportunity to work with a results-oriented and dedicated team.

Responsibilities:

  • Write, produce and share the weekly member newsletter.
  • Monitor news across traditional and social media.
  • Support the execution of strategic communications plans, and communications-related project management.
  • Manage the departmental content calendar.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite, Asana, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat Suite.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work well cross functionally and with others on the team to achieve personal goals, team goals, and organizational goals.

Experience:

  • 3 year of communications experience

Employment Type: 3 month contract

Compensation: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
