You will be responsible for overseeing a team of accountants and analysts performing all accounting functions within the company, reporting directly to the VP of Accounting. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and demonstrated knowledge of operational accounting functions are a must. This fast growing client has great tenure within the leadership team and excellent benefits.
Controller Responsibilities will include:
- Managing an accounting team
- Prepare internal and external financial reporting
- Overseeing all accounting functions
- Analyze current procedures and reporting and recommend changes to develop and implement best practices
- Assisting with building new policies and procedures
Controller Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required - in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business
- Public accounting foundation preferred
- CPA preferred
- 10 years of accounting and management experience
- Experience with SAP or other large ERP
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and ability to build great working relationships
