LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a hands-on Controller for an industry leading manufacturing client located in Twinsburg, OH to oversee accounting. The Controller will lead and manage a team responsible for period end close and financial reporting activities.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform various accounting functions including the preparation of financial statements and other reports for leader.
• Perform detailed financial analysis and standard costing activities
• Participate in the preparation of the annual operating plan and monitor performance
• Work closely with the leadership team to manage and lead the business.
• Provide financial oversight to include budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
• Lead the period-end close process, report results and KPI’s, analyze balance sheet accounts and audit activities.
• Perform variance analysis and ensure accuracy of financial activity
• Ensure accounting activities are performed in accordance with GAAP and ensure controls are maintained
• Prepare and upload consolidated financial statements
• Perform ADHOC tasks and projects as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; advanced degree preferred.
• 5 or more years of position related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and ability to adapt working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication & presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Prior leadership experience
• High proficiency with MS Office tools and ERP systems.
