LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a dynamic consumer goods company in Dallas, TX dedicated to delivering top-quality products to customers nationwide. They are seeking a talented Demand Planner to help them stay ahead of the curve and ensure products are always available when and where customers need them.
As a Demand Planner, you'll play a crucial role in driving the company's success by accurately forecasting consumer demand for products. You'll analyze market trends, historical data, and customer insights to develop forecasts that optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts. By collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain, you'll translate demand forecasts into actionable plans that support our business objectives.
Responsibilities:
  • Utilize demand planning tools and techniques to generate accurate demand forecasts for product portfolio
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to identify demand drivers and potential risks
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to gather input on promotional activities, product launches, and market trends that may impact demand
  • Work closely with Supply Chain teams to ensure inventory levels align with demand forecasts and optimize stock availability
  • Continuously evaluate and improve demand planning processes and systems to enhance forecast accuracy and efficiency
  • Communicate forecast updates, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in demand planning, preferably in the consumer goods industry.
  • Proficiency in demand planning software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Demand Solutions).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work a hybrid scheduled(3 days in office 2 remote) or fully onsite
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
