We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting or finance with at least one year of relevant experience. This role will involve handling various accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes. The successful candidate will also engage in analysis of general ledger (GL) postings, ad hoc reporting, and data analysis using a range of tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Journal Entries: Prepare and post accurate journal entries to the general ledger.
• Reconciliations: Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Month-End Close: Assist with the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• GL Analysis: Analyze general ledger postings to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement.
• Ad Hoc Reporting: Generate and provide ad hoc reports and data analysis as required by management.
• Data Analysis: Utilize various analytical tools and software to interpret financial data and support decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Certifications: CPA or CPA candidate preferred, but not required.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills.
