Are you passionate about creating a positive first impression for new hires?LHH is seeking a detail-oriented HR Onboarding Specialist to join our client’s team in Norwood, OH and support a valued client! In this role, you will be responsible for the entire onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition into their new roles.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of the onboarding process, including scheduling, logistics, and materials preparation.
- Conduct new hire orientations, introducing them to the company culture, values, policies, and procedures.
- Facilitate the completion of I-9 and other required paperwork, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist new hires with benefits enrollment, IT setup, and other administrative tasks.
- Serve as a point of contact for new hires, answering questions and providing ongoing support throughout the onboarding journey.
- Maintain and update onboarding materials and processes to ensure effectiveness.
- Collaborate with hiring managers, departments, and IT to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in HR or a related field.
- Proven experience in onboarding new hires.
- Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, including I-9 compliance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with HRIS (Human Resource Information System) a plus.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
