Junior Accountant-Direct Hire
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will support the accounting department in various tasks to ensure accurate financial records and efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with payroll processing and related documentation.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documents.
- Assist in budget preparation and monitoring expenses.
- Handle general accounting tasks as assigned by senior accountants or managers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or relevant field).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior internship or entry-level accounting experience is a plus.
