LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a client that is in the manufacturing/distribution industry and is in need of adding a Junior Bookkeeper to their accounting team. The company has been experiencing a great deal of growth and is needing to expand their accounting team to meet the needs of a growing organization. The person taking on this Junior Bookkeeper opportunity would be handling the following duties:
Responsibilities
- The Junior Bookkeeper would be responsible for handling full cycle accounts payable
- Ensuring invoices are coded and processed in a timely manner
- Responsible for cash applications (posting and balancing the cash account) and assisting with collection calls
- Preparation of invoices
- Administrative duties as needed
Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent working experience is desired
- 1-2 years of experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prior experience working with Purchase Orders is desired
- Prior experience working on QuickBooks online is desired
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task are required
