Job Description : Leasing Assistant

Location : Daly City, CA

Position Overview : As a Leasing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our leasing operations at affordable housing properties.

You will assist in leasing activities, resident relations, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities :

Assist in Leasing Operations :

Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective residents.

Explain lease terms, rental agreements, and community amenities to potential tenants.

Assist in processing rental applications, conducting background checks, and verifying applicant information.

Prepare lease documents and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and on time.

Tenant Relations :

Maintain positive relationships with current residents.

Address tenant inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely resolution of maintenance requests.

Administrative Support :

Maintain leasing records and update leasing activity reports.

Assist in organizing and filing leasing documents and resident files.

Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries related to leasing and resident services.

Community Engagement :

Participate in community events and outreach activities to promote the property and enhance resident engagement.

Assist in marketing efforts, including creating flyers, updating property listings, and managing social media platforms.

Requirements :

Previous experience in property management or leasing preferred.

Knowledge of affordable housing programs and regulations is a plus.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.

Proficient in MS Office and property management software (experience with Yardi or MRI is advantageous).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
