LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Legal Assistant for a great law firm in Richmond, VA. This opportunity offers the potential for growth and the opportunity to take on more complex legal tasks as experience is gained. The Legal Assistant will be suporting the President primarily with corporate/business litigation matters.
Location: Richmond, VA
Hours: 9AM-5PM
Core Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with attorneys to ensure deadlines are met and filings are submitted accurately and on time
- Manage and organize case files, documents, and correspondence
- Maintain electronic and physical filing systems, ensuring easy access to information for attorneys and staff
- Conduct legal research using online resources and databases under attorney supervision
- Assist with administrative tasks such as copying and heavy calendar management
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant/Paralegal, with a focus on corporate or business litigation
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Familiarity with court procedures and e-filing systems
- Proficiency in legal research and writing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work product
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Salary Range: $45K-$60K
