Title : Legal Biller

Direct Hire

Location : Irvine; 8 : 30-5 : 30 with 1 hour lunch

Pay : $30-35 / hour

Hybrid work schedule - 2 days onsite

We are looking for a legal biller for a law firm specializing in Insurance located in Irvine. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of legal billing experience , no software experience needed.

Responsibilities :

• Ensure the accuracy of bills and accompanying documents, verifying compliance with Firm policies and client guidelines.
• Upload invoices to various e-billing platforms and portals.
• Assist legal staff with budget and staffing plan preparation and submission as needed.
• Monitor invoices in the e-billing portal and track their approval status.
• Resolve billing and payment discrepancies by communicating with third-party payers.
• Provide effective customer service to both internal and external clients in a timely manner.
• Analyze client accounts and produce monthly reports.
• Follow up with clients on overdue invoices.
• Address and resolve billing or collection issues for clients.
• Create and send invoices and supporting documentation to clients.
• Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
