LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a sophisticated midsized law firm in Baltimore, MD in its unposted search for a mid-to-senior level associate to assist with low-income housing tax credit ("LIHTC") transactions and growing its LIHTC practice!

The associate can expect to represent tax credit syndicators (investors) in a variety of LIHTC transactions. Ideal candidates will have 4 years of experience representing developers, investors, syndicators, and lenders in transactions utilizing federal LIHTCs. Experience with historic tax credits, new markets tax credits, state credits, and opportunity zone transactions is preferred. Knowledge of combining tax credits, development incentives, and financing programs, such as HOPE VI, RD, and FHA-insured financing, for the development of residential, mixed-use, and commercial projects is a plus.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate degree.
• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in any state.

Qualifications:

• 4 years of relevant litigation experience.

Perks:

• Salary – $175K (based on experience), before bonuses and benefits.
• Billables – 1750 hours annual target, not a requirement
• Bonuses – year-end bonuses based on firm performance and Associate performance.
• Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 days out of office, per week, with fully remote potential for the right candidate.
