Our client is seeking a results-driven Manufacturing Plant Director. As an experienced leader, you will create and implement a strategic vision and strategies for improved performance of our manufacturing operation. You will provide leadership, guidance, and direction to operations directors within your responsibilities to ensure that objectives are achieved. You are an expert at assessing and implementing continuous improvement opportunities while achieving performance objectives.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead a world-class manufacturing facility
• Drive corporate initiatives to improve overall operational effectiveness
• Oversee a highly automated assembly plant and a distribution facility along with associated transportation and logistics teams
• Coordinate plant activities with departmental directors to ensure manufacturing objectives are met
• Develop and control profits, plans, and budgets
• Enhance working capital productivity and implement cost-effective systems of control over capital, expenditures, wages, and salaries
• Manage capital asset maintenance
• Establish and monitor plant performance for production and quality standards
• Maintain plant facilities and equipment
• Focus on talent development and succession planning
• Optimize human and equipment utilization
• Ensure financial profit delivery
• Create a safe working environment where people deliver world-class quality products on time to our customers

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree highly valued
• 5-10 years of plant manufacturing management experience
• Superior scheduling and project management experience
• Strong organizational, leadership, time management, and communication skills
• Proficiency in technical computer skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment with tight deadlines
• Experience in automated assembly distribution systems in a high-volume environment
• Sound financial capabilities with previous experience in P&L management
• Deep technical expertise coupled with problem-solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge of NetSuite Applications
• Experience in coffee, tea, FMCG, or beverage plant manufacturing
