LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Mechanical Engineer in Raleigh, NC that has a strong background in HVAC design in the commercial space. As an HVAC Design Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the conception, design, and implementation of HVAC systems for various projects. This role will work with a team and help mentor junior engineers. The position is mostly onsite and includes some travel.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed HVAC system design and analysis.
• Collaborate with architects, clients, and other engineering disciplines to develop integrated solutions.
• Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Perform load calculations and energy analysis for HVAC systems.
• Provide technical support during the construction phase of projects.
• Stay current with industry trends, codes, and standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 4-9 years of experience in HVAC design and mechanical engineering.
• Proficiency in HVAC system design software Revit and/or AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
