Our client is a well funded social services organizations is seeking a Manager ready for their next step to join and support their team. You will be the point person to ensure the processes and workflows of preparing financials, month-end close and providing strategic support are upgraded. You must have a minimum of 5 years of Accounting and Finance experience and be a pro-active, analytical individual with experience in upgrading sytems and processes.

Your Responsibilities:

• Ensure monthly close process is optimized, to ensure deadlines are met and all financial information is accurate and in compliance with GAAP
• Provide analytical support to senior management to support key business decisions
• Implement internal controls to efficiently manage all accounting/finance functions
• Oversee processs improvements for Accounts Payable and cash flow
• Assist the VP of Finance in various projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, a CPA or MBA are plusses
• Experience in Non-Profit is a plus
• Must have strong communication skills to effectively convey financial information to different departments
• Been involved in an ERP implementation would be a strong plus
