LHH is Hiring a Part-Time HR Consultant Near Charlotte, NC

LHH is seeking a dynamic HR professional for a part-time HR Consultant for a company in Charlotte, NC! The ideal candidate has several years of experience as an HR Manager or high-level HR professional looking to work 12-25 hours per week. This position is a hybrid role with flexible hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and candidate selection.
  • Serve as a resource for employees and management regarding HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company standards.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage the E-Verify process for new hires, ensuring compliance with federal regulations.
  • Coordinate and deliver training sessions for employees and management on various HR topics, including diversity, harassment prevention, and safety protocols.
  • Oversee safety training initiatives and workers' compensation programs, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
  • Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions, while fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
  • Conduct salary surveys to gather data on compensation trends and ensure competitive salary structures.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on performance management issues, including goal setting, feedback, and coaching.
  • Manage mortgage verification processes for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR Manager or Business Partner role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and training.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other relevant software applications.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office
