Part-Time Full Charge Bookkeeper

Location: Gilbert, AZ Please note: This role is at a church and will require you to sign a statement of faith.

Pay Rate: $25 - $30 per hour

Hours: Part time and Hybrid Flexible within 8 AM - 5 PM MST

Job Description:

LHH is seeking a reliable Part-Time Full Charge Bookkeeper with experience in the religious industry to join our clients team in Gilbert, AZ. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Sage Intacct software and have a strong understanding of financial processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
• Oversee budget tracking and assist in financial planning.
• Process donations and contributions, ensuring accurate recording and reporting.
• Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Provide financial insights and support for organizational decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Accounting degree preferred but not required
• Previous experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper, preferably in a religious or nonprofit organization.
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct software.
• Proficiency in Paycom
• Proficiency with Google Drive, Rock RMS (ChMS), Online Giving, Martus, Visa Spend Clarity
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to complete tasks within the given time frame.
