LHH is Hiring a Payroll Specialist Near Loveland, OH

LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an experience payroll professional with experience with commissions and bonuses. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of relevant experience along with strong Microsoft excel skills. This position is temp to hire and will pay between $20 and $23/hr.
Responsibilities:
  • Process bi-weekly payroll for 450 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Enter and verify payroll data, including hours worked, overtime, deductions, and other payroll elements.
  • Administer and calculate employee bonuses and commissions based on performance metrics and company guidelines.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries, bonuses, and commissions.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and file payroll tax reports, W-2s, and other necessary documentation.
  • Ensure all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees promptly and professionally.
  • Provide explanations of payroll calculations and deductions.
  • Assist employees with payroll issues and resolve discrepancies as needed.
  • Maintain and update payroll information and employee records in the payroll system.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate and comprehensive employee data.
  • Conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and increase efficiency.
  • Participate in the implementation of new payroll systems or upgrades as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in payroll management.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a mid-sized company.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
  • Experience with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
