LHH is Hiring a Payroll Specialist Near Loveland, OH
Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 450 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Enter and verify payroll data, including hours worked, overtime, deductions, and other payroll elements.
- Administer and calculate employee bonuses and commissions based on performance metrics and company guidelines.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries, bonuses, and commissions.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
- Prepare and file payroll tax reports, W-2s, and other necessary documentation.
- Ensure all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees promptly and professionally.
- Provide explanations of payroll calculations and deductions.
- Assist employees with payroll issues and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Maintain and update payroll information and employee records in the payroll system.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate and comprehensive employee data.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and increase efficiency.
- Participate in the implementation of new payroll systems or upgrades as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in payroll management.
- Minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a mid-sized company.
- Comprehensive knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
- Experience with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
