What You'll Do:
- Prepare probate pleadings for both decedent’s estates and guardianships.
- File probate pleadings, ensuring all relevant dates are calendared and notices are delivered timely.
- Obtain proper authorizations to secure taxpayer identification numbers.
- Marshall estate assets and assist with their liquidation and transfer.
- Gather all necessary information related to assets to administer estates and fund trusts accurately.
- Draft internal memos regarding asset administration and the progress of probate matters.
- Communicate directly with clients about the administration of assets.
- Prepare inventory and annual estate accounting.
Who You Are:
- A paralegal with at least two years of relevant experience; a paralegal certificate is preferred.
- Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
- Energetic and eager to learn.
- Committed to attending the office four days a week.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe software programs.
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
