LHH is working with a highly regarded provider of real estate services that is adding a new Property Accountant to their team. This company operates major markets across Texas, and their comprehensive offerings include general brokerage, property management, asset management, and development services. This role offers a hybrid work environment, with a rotating schedule that involves both remote and in-office work.

Job Responsibilities:

• Generate property management financial reports for individual assets.
• Record fair value adjustments for investments in real estate and debt.
• Log equity in earnings for joint ventures.
• Produce monthly financial statements.
• Collaborate with other property accountants, property managers, and asset managers.
• Record and reconcile financial information.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual client reports.
• Create annual cash audit work papers.
• Prepare internal and external performance returns.
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations for checking accounts.
• Calculate and prepare statements of cash flows.
• Demonstrate full general ledger experience, including financial statement preparation and review.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, management fees, and lender escrow accounts.
• Perform bank statement reconciliations.
• Review accounts payable and receivables for a portfolio, including cash management.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Accounting.
• Capable of thriving in a high-volume environment.
• Accrual basis accounting experience is advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Dependable with a robust work ethic.
