LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Property Accountant for our client in the real estate industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience in real estate or retail accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial and owner’s reports for multiple retail and office properties
• Create annual budgets for various properties.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations.
• Execute month-end close processes for multiple entities with a consolidated roll-up.
• Interpret and apply legal documents related to properties.
• Generate invoices for properties when needed.
• Conduct cash flow analysis as required.
• Effectively communicate with property owners through both verbal and written channels.
• Manage the transition of financial management for new properties.
• Ensure data accuracy in property reports and correct discrepancies.
• Manage accounts receivable and keep up to date
• Audit monthly charges to ensure accuracy
• Reconcile annual CAM, tax, and insurance payments
• Review the General Ledger to ensure accurate income and expense coding.
• Develop quarterly reforecasts, including detailed variance explanations.
• Prepare insurance and tax estimates for the upcoming year

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in accounting or related field
• Minimum two years related experience in real estate or retail environment
• Proficiency in Excel- formulas and spreadsheets
