What are the responsibilities and job description for the Proposal Manager position at LHH?
LHH is working with one of our incredible AEC clients in Portland, OR to find a Proposal Manager. This person will spearhead the proposal process, strategic marketing initiatives as well as business development as a whole. They will be responsible for the tactical execution of proposals as well as pursuit of new proposals. They will collaborate with the marketing team and leadership to manage projects including web and social content and heavy research for new projects. This person must come from a strong Architecture or Construction marketing background with an emphasis in the full scope of the proposal process. In order to succeed, you must have strong InDesign skills and ideally are proficient in Cosential or Deltek.
This is a hybrid role in Portland, OR with compensation ranging between $95,000-$115,000 based on experience. This client offers incredible benefits including PTO, medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) option.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to pursue new proposal and project opportunities with business development.
- Develop and write proposals.
- Collaborate with marketing leaders and other team members to manage content and overall project timing.
- Help supplement efforts in other client events, professional engagements and marketing strategies.
You must have:
- 5 years of previous Marketing/Proposal Management experience in the AEC industries
- Strong InDesign skills
- Thorough experience and understanding of the proposal process and ability to manage all steps of the process.
