**Summary:**
The Quality Engineer at our Clients company in Lagrange reports to the Quality Manager and is tasked with overseeing and managing the Quality Management System (QMS). In this role, the engineer ensures adherence to quality standards, drives continuous improvement, and educates internal and external stakeholders on quality requirements. Key responsibilities include managing the QMS, improving product and process quality, addressing complaints and non-conformances, representing Vexos to customers on quality matters, and facilitating quality planning for new products. Additionally, the engineer supports supplier quality processes, conducts training sessions, participates in corporate quality initiatives, and contributes to management team activities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Operate the Lagrange site QMS to meet customer, regulatory, and corporate requirements.
- Improve product and process quality to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Investigate complaints and non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
- Represent company in quality discussions with customers.
- Plan and execute quality activities for new product introductions.
- Maintain QMS registrations, conduct audits, and update documentation.
- Support local supplier quality processes and arrange audits.
- Provide training on quality awareness and improvement methodologies.
- Contribute to corporate quality projects and initiatives.
- Participate in Lagrange management team activities.
**Skills and Experience:**
- Minimum 5 years in quality role in Electronics or related Manufacturing.
- Understanding of ISO9001 and ISO13485; familiarity with FDA QSR and/or automotive requirements.
- Proficiency in statistical quality tools and methodologies.
- Collaborative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma preferred.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical/Electronics.
