LHH is Hiring a Quality Engineer Near Waukegan, IL
This role will be responsible for maintaining departmental documentation, PPAP, assisting with a variety of audits, monitoring supplier performance and investigating non conforming materials.
Responsibilities
- Perform internal and external audits
- Monitor supplier performance
- Investigate non conforming materials, root cause analysis
- Create, review and maintain departmental documentation
- Propose and implement corrective action
- Prepare and submit PPAP's
- Maintain necessary tools and equipment, including calibration
- Additional duties as needed
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
- 3 years of Manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of ISO 9001/ISO14001/IATF16949
- Hands on Quality experience a plus
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Analytical and quantitative approach to problem solving
- Bilingual Spanish highly preferred
