LHH is Hiring a R- Executive Assistant to CEO Near Washington, DC

LHH is currently partnering with a well-known nonprofit in the Washington, DC area looking to bring on an Executive Assistant to provide extensive support to their CEO. This role will be responsible for managing both internal and external scheduling, coordinating meetings, and ensuring efficient use of the CEO time. This position will play a critical role in facilitating communication and ensuring that the President's schedule aligns with organizational priorities. This is a long term temp position with the potential to be converted to a perm employee. Hourly pay rate based on experience is between $28-$35 per hour and $75,000-$90,000 once converted permanent. This role will begin immediately and offer a hybrid schedule, 4 days onsite & 1 remote.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain the CEO's calendar, scheduling appointments and meetings as required
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, and ground transportation
  • Prepare meeting agendas, presentations, and materials, and ensure timely distribution to attendees
  • Act as a liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and board members
  • Handle incoming communications, including emails, phone calls, and mail, and respond or escalate as appropriate
  • Draft and proofread correspondence, reports, and other documents on behalf of the CEO
  • Conduct research and compile data as needed to support decision-making and project management
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by the CEO, providing administrative support as required
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information and documents
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Executive Assistant, or similar role, preferably supporting senior executives.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels.
  • Proficiency in calendar management software and Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Prior experience in a nonprofit organization is a plus

Pay Details: $28.00 to $35.00 per hour
