LHH is Hiring a Recruiter Near Baltimore, MD

The Recruitment & Retention Specialist is tasked with overseeing the entire recruitment process, from sourcing and attracting talent to conducting interviews and onboarding new hires. This role involves close collaboration with department managers to identify staffing needs and ensure a steady influx of qualified candidates. Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, the Specialist will manage recruitment efforts across all subsidiaries to ensure the company attracts, hires, and retains top-tier employees, while also nurturing a robust talent pipeline.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Adheres to all Agency policies and regulatory requirements while representing Chimes' mission and history.
  • Manages recruitment efforts, including administrative tasks related to hiring, such as posting ads, attending job fairs, and conducting interviews.
  • Builds and maintains relationships through community networking to expand the pool of potential candidates.
  • Implements recruitment strategies aimed at attracting, advancing, and retaining skilled staff.
  • Utilizes various methods to source candidates and may create recruitment materials like ads and brochures.
  • Identifies opportunities to enhance the candidate experience and streamline recruitment processes.
  • Keeps abreast of new recruitment methods and trends and manages Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to review and consider resumes.
  • Collaborates with HR Generalists and Hiring Managers throughout the selection and hiring process, conducting phone screens and interviews when necessary.
  • Maintains databases of recruitment resources, events, and applicant flow.
  • Assists with managing the Employee Referral Program and new employee onboarding.
  • Achieves or surpasses hiring and staff retention goals for all positions and provides recruitment-related reporting as requested.
  • Fosters positive relationships with all stakeholders and maintains confidentiality.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Posts job openings on external platforms and prepares monthly reports as required.
  • Makes recommendations for recruitment and engagement product orders and may handle background checks for new hires.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Associate's Degree accepted with 2 years of experience.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of recruitment experience required.
  • Familiarity with federal and state employment laws.
  • Proficiency in typing and computer usage.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) preferred.
  • Bilingualism is advantageous.

Other Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel occasionally within Virginia, Delaware, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.
  • Position based in Baltimore, MD.
