Responsibilities:
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and research variances
- Ensures proper and timely recording of financial transactions in the general ledger
- Responsible for timely and accurate month-end accounting close
- Assist with payroll
- Ad hoc projects
Qualifications:
- 7 years of accounting experience in property development or real estate investments
- Public accounting experience, preferred
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance, preferred
- CPA, preferred
Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Experience with QuickBooks and Yardi
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and application of accounting principles
Compensation & Benefits:
- $70,000-95,000
- 401k w/ match
