LHH is Hiring a Senior Accountant Near Oswego, IL
LHH is looking for a Senior Accountant for a global client located in the Western Suburbs. Our client offers an extremely generous compensation plan, great benefits, and a promote from within culture!
This is an individual contributor role and the Senior Accountant will perform both accounting and financial analysis.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for:
- Supporting annual audits
- ensuring internal controls are up to date and identifying risks
- Monthly and annual closing procedures to include: journal entries, financial statement preparation, account reconciliation, and compliance
- Assist with budgeting & forecasting, variance analysis against actuals
- Accounts Payable
The Senior Accountant will need to meet the following criteria:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of related experience
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products; large emphasis on Excel
- Experience with SAP, Hyperion Financial Management, and One Stream is a big plus
- Knowledge and application of GAAP
