Description:

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, audit schedules, and fluctuation analyses
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close for various accounts.
• Assist with the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to streamline accounting processes and SOX compliance.
• Conduct variance analyses and provide observations, potential errors, and opportunities for additional follow up.
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley controls in areas of responsibility as well as perform Financial Controls assigned to the role.
• Organize, prioritize and complete several tasks simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

• Other duties and projects as assigned and required of the business.

Requirements:

• Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor Degree in Accounting.
• CPA/CPA Candidate preferred.
• Minimum of five to seven years of job-related experience preferred.
• Accounting and associated GL Account reconciliations experience required.
• Thorough understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
• Experience with accounting systems, databases, and reporting tools. NetSuite familiarity a plus.
• Experienced in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel.
• Strong analytical skills, strong attention to detail, organized.
• Technical accounting experience is a plus.
