Position Summary:
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our organization by creating and analyzing financial data to support our growth strategy. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in high-volume, fast-paced environments and have a keen eye for detail. With responsibilities ranging from creating financial reports to conducting budget analysis and presenting to the executive team, this position is designed for candidates with 2-3 years of experience in finance.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, including revenue, expenses, and profitability, to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
· Compile Monthly Actual vs. Budget and Actual vs. Forecast comparisons, distribute to branches and perform analysis of results as needed.
· Provide variance commentary on monthly basis and highlight trends / changes in the business for management reporting.
· Own weekly cash forecast process reporting to C-Suite and Private Equity Sponsor
· Lead the coordination of the budget process including implementation, coordination with reginal finance managers, consolidation, and analysis.
· Partner with cross-functional teams, such as Accounting, HR and Legal to assist in the creation of board presentations and monthly business reviews.
· Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast and budget models.
· Undertake ad hoc analyses and duties as required to support the Finance Department.
Requirements:
· Proficient in MS Office, Viewpoint or other financial software applications.
· Proven knowledge of financial analysis, forecasting and scenario planning.
· Strong analytical skills, organization, and curiosity to develop new methods and processes.
· Exercises good judgment, flexible, and comfortable working under time constraints.
· Independent and proactive work style, capable of anticipating needs in a dynamic environment.
· BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
· 2-3 years of working experience.
