LHH is Hiring a Senior Fund Accountant Near New York, NY
Small not for profit is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join their team. Organization offers work-life balance and extensive time off! Position is 1x/month in the NYC office. Salary is between 120k to 140k depending on experience. Must have at least 5 years of fund accounting experience.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statemenst for the fund in accordance with US GAAP
- Review and approve quarterly capital statements
- Manage capital call and distribution notices
- Main point of contact between fund administrator and organization
- Prepare journal entries for month-end close
Qualifications:
- 5 years of fund accounting experience
- Experience of partnership accounting preferred
- CPA preferred
