LHH is Hiring a Senior Property Accountant Near Lewisville, TX
Location: Dallas, TX
Responsibilities:
- Manage the month-end close process, including the preparation and review of financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations for multiple retail and multi-family properties.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial reports with accounting standards and company policies.
- Review and analyze new leases and other leasing documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Perform CAM reconciliations.
- Maintain lease records in MRI software for multiple properties, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Prepare and submit semi-monthly funding requests for operating and capital expenses, ensuring proper allocation and budget adherence.
- Reconcile payments, expenses, and shared property expenses.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits, providing necessary financial data
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting, with a focus on commercial real estate
- Proficiency in MRI or Yardi.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and property management accounting practices.
