Senior Systems Engineer

LHH is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer for Direct Hire role with a client located in Los Angeles, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and oversee the management of organizational systems encompassing networks, storage, Exchange, physical and virtual servers, Active Directory, Group Policy, Certificate Services, authentication systems, as well as remote access and mobility systems.
• Administer and maintain cloud-based systems and associated services such as Azure, Office365, and AWS.
• Supervise to guarantee peak performance of systems.
• Conduct regular and extended maintenance alongside user-oriented task management.
• Deliver advanced technical support through handling escalated technical issues.

Qualifications:

• Substantial industry experience – Prior involvement in law firms or highly regulated sectors such as finance or healthcare is essential.
• Preferably holds a Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Over 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer specializing in Windows Environments.
• Extensive proficiency with VMware technologies including Esxi, vcenter, vSAN, and NSX, encompassing design, construction, security, and administration.
• Profound expertise in managing complex Windows environments.
• Proficiency in Azure is a prerequisite.
• Mastery in Automation/Scripting, specifically PowerShell.
• Strong background in security, including knowledge of monitoring solutions like Orion, Splunk, and vRealize Suite/Aria Operations.
• Demonstrated prowess in deployment operations.
