LHH is looking to fill a Senior Tax Accountant with a well-established Hedge Fund in Dallas. The Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for applying tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely income tax provisions ASC 740, tax returns, tax payments, income tax accounting entries, and ensure appropriate adherence to corporate accounting policies and related internal controls.

This is a Hybrid position and will work in office 3 days per week. This company has great benefits and known for it’s great culture.

Compensation: 95K-105K Large Bonus. Candidates MUST have experience working with SEC traded companies.

Duties:

• Prepare Federal and State partnership tax returns for the firm's funds and management company.
• Review tax workpapers (and tax returns/estimates, where applicable) prepared by third-party fund administrator(s) and/or outside accounting firms of the firm's funds.
• Prepare Federal and State tax returns for the firm’s portfolio manager (individual returns, gift tax returns, etc) and his family office entities (family limited partnerships, family trusts, private foundation).
• Prepare other Federal and State Tax Returns for firm-related entities. Types of returns include Partnerships (1065), C Corporations (1120), S Corporations (1120S), Foreign Corporations (1120F), US Withholding Tax Returns (1042/1042S), Exempt Organizations (990).
• Prepare or review monthly/quarterly tax projections for the funds.
• Prepare quarterly estimated tax projections for the portfolio manager.
• Tax planning and research projects for the firm's entities and management company.

Requirements:

• 2 years in public accounting
• Excellent communication (written and verbal)
• Analytical and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance with a 3.5 or greater GPA
• Working knowledge of basic and intermediate tax concepts
