Job Title: Senior Accountant

Salary: Exempt position, competitive salary $75-85k or more DOE

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in New Castle, DE. This role reports to the Head of Finance and works closely with other team members to handle agency financial management and accounting in daily operations. The Senior Accountant is responsible for general ledger, month-end close, accounts payable, payroll, and other accounting activities.

Essential Job Functions:

• Manage general entries, general ledger, month-end close activities, and reporting.
• Handle accounts payable management, analysis, and reporting.
• Monitor bank activity and conduct cash flow analysis.
• Oversee intercompany reconciliation process.
• Process payroll and related tasks.
• Assist with annual audit preparation and other assigned tasks.

Requirements:

• 3 years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Functional knowledge of US GAAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, VLOOKUPs, and pivot tables.
• Experience with SAP Business One, Concur AP, Salesforce, and Power BI.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
