Position Title: Sr Accountant

Location: Office in Tacoma, WA

Work Type: Hybrid work environment with in-office days and work-from-home flexibility (3 days a week in office, 2 days from home)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Sr Accountant who is eager to grow into a leadership role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, preferably with public accounting experience, and a desire to expand into Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). This role involves a significant amount of transactional work, with the opportunity to leverage technology to streamline processes and identify trends.

The team works closely with various departments, including Billing, Collections, Pricing, Rates Maintenance, and Terminal Management, to ensure the smooth operation of our business.

Qualifications:

• Background in Accounting: BA in Accounting or Finance. The candidate should have a strong background in accounting, ideally with experience in public accounting (Big 4, National or Large servicing for private clients)
• Interest in FP&A: You should be excited to expand into Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and learn SQL/Power BI.
• Leadership Aspirations: Ideally candidate will be a natural leader seeking career growth, who will take initiative and lean into opportunities to analyze and make sense of the business.
• Technological Proficiency: The candidate should be tech-savvy, eager to identify trends, and streamline processes.
