LHH is currently seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant in Carlsbad, CA to oversee our accounts payable operations and general ledger activity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting within the manufacturing or distribution sector and will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full cycle of accounts payable processes including invoice processing, payment disbursement, and vendor communication.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and ensure that all invoices and staff reimbursements are paid accurately and in accordance with finance policies and procedures.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
• Maintain and organize financial records, including invoices, POs, and payment receipts.
• Prepare analysis of accounts and generate monthly reports.
• Assist with external and internal audits as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the manufacturing or distribution industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (VLOOKUPS, Pivot tables).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, especially accounts payable procedures.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
