Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements on a regular basis, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
2. Reconciliations: Perform bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
3. Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely. Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding invoices or payments.
4. General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain the integrity of the general ledger by posting journal entries, accruals, and adjustments as necessary. Ensure proper coding and classification of transactions.
5. Financial Analysis: Assist in financial analysis and forecasting by gathering relevant data, preparing variance analysis reports, and identifying trends or areas for improvement.
6. Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies. Assist in audits by providing documentation and explanations as required.
7. Tax Preparation: Support tax preparation processes by organizing financial data, preparing schedules, and collaborating with external tax advisors or auditors.
8. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, improve efficiency, and enhance internal controls. Implement best practices to optimize financial operations.
