LHH is Hiring a Staff Accountant Near New York, NY
Not for profit organization is seeking to add a Staff Accountant to their team. Ideal candidate will have Bachelors degree in Accounting and at least 2 year of relevant experience. Role is hybrid in uptown Manhattan. Salary between 75k to 80k. Organization offers work life balance and generous PTO.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the month end close of multiple entities
- Responsible for the intercompany reconciliation process
- Bank reconciliations
- Review the balance sheet and make any adjustments as needed
- Involved with the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts
- Participate in the audit and regulatory filings
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in accounting, finance, or related field
- 1 or more years of relevant job experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Must be pro-active and able to work in a fast-paced environment
