LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our client in Wheeling, WV. This role is responsible for the day-to-day general accounting duties, preparing monthly financial reporting, assisting with month end close, and performing balance sheet reconciliations.

Compensation is $60k-$74k. Full benefits included medical, dental, vision, 401K, sick time, vacation time, and company paid holidays are available.

*Schedule is working from home 1 day per week and 4 days on site. This is a full time, direct hire opportunity.*

Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries and account reconciliations

Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting for senior management

Perform analysis to determine trends and significant changes to general ledger accounts

Assist with year-end financial statement audits and other regulatory examination requests

Skills and Qualifications:

2 years of accounting or billing experience

High proficiency with MS Excel

Ability to comprehend, interpret and apply accounting principles
