Employment Type: Contract to Hire
Commute: Hybrid Role, required on-site Tuesday - Thursday
Compensation: $30 - $32 per hour
Position Summary:LHH is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst with a strong passion for excellence in supply chain asset management. This role is critical in managing returnable containers outside of direct control and ensuring they continue to flow through the perishable supply chain efficiently. Our client takes pride in meeting daily customer needs while maximizing asset utilization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the customer reporting process for container shipments, maintaining comprehensive data and reports across all supply chains.
- Develop and maintain an audit schedule for customer asset usage.
- Analyze customer asset usage behaviors and report on findings.
- Perform detailed asset utilization analyses (turns, losses, out-of-network shipments, and reporting) for sales-led customer reviews.
- Continuously seek process improvements to minimize losses and enhance recoveries.
- Serve as the main contact for Food Banks in asset recovery efforts.
- Identify and implement opportunities for supply chain improvements related to container assets.
- Collaborate closely with sales and supply chain teams across various supply chains.
- 1-3 years of experience in finance, supply chain, logistics, or asset management.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, supply chain, operations management, or logistics preferred.
- Proven track record in analyzing key performance indicators to support business goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including effective phone communication.
- Strong ability to build and maintain good rapport with internal and external customers.
- High organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic work environment.
- Attention to detail and thorough follow-through.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; familiarity with relational databases is a plus.
