LHH is Hiring a Terminal Operator Near Paul, MN

Lee Hecht Harrison Recruitment Solutions (LHH) is partnering with a leading company to fill their open Terminal Operator job in St. Paul, MN. To qualify, you must have at least one year of recent, relevant experience in a similar role.
This is a TEMPORARY job opportunity that can last up to 1 year. You will earn between $22.00 and $25.00 per hour in this role. During the temporary period, you will be able to sign up for LHH’s benefits programs (details below).
Responsibilities:
  • Unloading of barges and or railcars, transferring of the products into proper silos, sampling and testing of products received and shipped
  • Loads bulk unit trucks correctly, providing legal weights and proper product for customer delivery or pick up
  • Processing Bill of Ladings
  • Troubleshooting terminal equipment failures
  • Running reports as requested
  • Providing routine maintenance of equipment
  • Maintaining a safe work environment by assessing risks before starting tasks, only performing authorized activities, using proper PPE, etc.
  • Maintaining terminal equipment in good working order
  • Identifying potential safety or mechanical issues
  • Maintaining compliance with internal control procedures
  • Providing excellent customer service
Qualifications:
  • At least one year of recent, relevant experience in a similar role
  • Excellent mechanical knowledge and ability
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of standard safety processes and procedures
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
Compensation:
  • Hourly rate between $22.00 and $25.00
