Job Title: RN - Oncology
Location: Atlanta, GA
Salary: $2200/wk
Shifts: 3x12s Days and Nights
As an Oncology RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care to individuals undergoing treatment for cancer. This includes assisting with treatment plans, administering medications and chemotherapy, monitoring patients for side effects or complications, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.

Key Responsibilities Of The Registered Nurse Oncology

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for oncology patients.
• Administering chemotherapy, medications, and blood products, and monitoring their effects.
• Monitoring and managing symptoms and side effects associated with cancer treatments.
• Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Assisting with procedures, including bone marrow biopsies and lumbar punctures.
• Documenting patient care and maintaining accurate medical records.
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Assisting in clinical research studies and trials as needed.
• Participating in ongoing education and professional development to stay updated on advancements in oncology nursing.
• Adhering to all nursing standards and protocols to ensure patient safety and quality of care.

Requirements Of The Registered Nurse Oncology

• BLS Certification
• RN License
• 2 years Oncology Experience
• Chemo Certification would be ideal
