We are recruiting for a VP of Accounting and Finance for a client that offers variety, challenges, and opportunity. They are looking for an experienced accounting professional to work closely with top management and to lead the accounting team. This role is a succession role to the CFO position. CPA is highly desired.

Duties:

• Lead accounting and finance department.
• Perform as subject matter expert offering mentorship, guidance, and input to teammates and data to executive leadership.
• Work closely with the leadership team to assist in high-level analysis for decision support.

Qualifications:

• 6 plus years progressive accounting experience
• Strong Excel experience required
• BS degree in Accounting
• CPA preferred
• Manufacturing or distribution experience a plus
