Marketing Support Specialist

Liaison Creative Marketing has an opportunity for a Marketing Support Specialist with 2-3 years of experience. This opportunity will span social media (content/management), graphic design (document layout/photo/video), and department support (meetings, dept. logistics, team events). We seek candidates who want to be part of a small yet mighty marketing team making a difference in the energy sector – someone who thrives jumping between supporting a team and being creative – and who has a service heart.

This role is located in Round Rock and is onsite 4x weekly with some flex time and full benefits. We are only seeking candidates who currently reside in the greater Austin, Texas area and are able to commute to the Round Rock office.

We are seeking an equal mix of skills across these areas.

• Social Media: Plan and design LinkedIn posts/newsletters/banners, write social captions, update YouTube page, and review social comments
• Creative: Layout manuals/brochures/signage, headshots/photo adjustments, product and culture shots, and web content uploads
• Support: Work with the Marketing and Creative Director on meeting/event logistics, employee events, department admin, and research projects

HOW TO BE A TOP CANDIDATE

• 2-3 years of experience in a role where you have produced layouts for content ranging from simple things like social posts to more long-form documents like a report (case study, whitepaper, etc.)
• Experience in roles demonstrating your ability to support a team with logistics or operations (meetings, events, basic dept. operations, etc.)
• Online portfolio showing work samples
• Proficient with the basics of Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign and Photoshop
• Basic understanding of the marketing lifecycle and associated phases for promoting a product or service
• Bachelor's or Associates degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, Visual Communication or related course of study
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
• Exceptional project management skills, including concurrently handling multiple projects
