I. Nature Of Position
- The Coach shall be directly responsible to the building principal, but will work through the Activities Director in carrying out his/her assignments.
- The Grade Coach shall help each participating student achieve a high level of skill, an appreciation for the values of discipline, sportsmanship, teamwork, physical development, and knowledge of the game.
- Work with the Activities Director in scheduling practices and contests.
- Coach individual participants in the skills necessary for excellent achievement in the sport involved.
- Have a specialized preparation emphasizing the coaching of the respective sport.
- Have a fundamental knowledge of the care and prevention of athletic injuries and training programs.
- Hold a current Standard First Aid Card.
